Disaster teams from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office, Field Office CALABARZON and Regions X, XI and XII continue to bring relief goods to quake hit Tingloy Island, Mabini in Batangas and in Wao, Lanao Del Sur.
As of April 13, 8pm, DSWD provided a total of ₱1,598,296 worth of assistance to affected families in Batangas Province, while it extended P144,000 worth of initial assistance to affected families in Wao, Lanao del Sur.
To date, there are 120 families or 600 persons affected in 7 barangays in Wao, Lanao del Sur. These affected families are still staying at their respective houses despite the incident.
The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) of the DSWD-DReAMB is continuously coordinating with DSWD-Field Offices X, XI and XII for updates on the extent of damage, number of affected families and individuals, and other significant updates. ###
